Gear Review: DrinkTanks
My plan for gear reviews is to cover some of my favorite gear items that I use on a regular, often daily, basis. However, if anyone has any requests for specific reviews or gear guides send me a DM, email, or break out your semiphor flags and let me know.
Oregon based company DrinkTanks has quickly become my favorite manufacturer of double walled cups and growlers. I picked up a 16oz insulated coffee cup from them in a Cairn subscription box a while ago and immediately fell in love with it's simplicity and function. While many companies focus on gimmicky features DrinkTanks makes a product that works and works well. In fact, my cup is so well insulated that I have frustrated myself several times waiting for a drink that was too hot to cool down. The durability of my mug has been exceptional as well. Despite the many times I have dropped my mug the few dents it had picked up are extremely small and only around the top edge where they matter very little.
In additions to coffee cups/beer tumblers, DrinkTanks also manufactures 64oz and 128oz growlers and co2 pressure systems for them. I do not currently own any DrinkTanks growlers but I have full confidence that they are built as well as their other products.
