Preparedness and Deadlines
I am happy to report that I have survived my first Anatomy exam and am back on the blog.
Now that school is starting in earnest, deadlines are becoming a bigger and bigger part of my life. So I want to take a moment to talk about how I see deadlines relating to a lifestyle of preparedness. Being prepared doesn't just apply to things like wildfires or locking your keys in the car, both of which you don't expect to happen. Preparedness also applies to things like deadlines or finances, both of which are generally unavoidable.
Thankfully, I only have one class this semester. However, this anatomy class is no joke and has frequent exams and tests that must be studied for, giving pretty hard deadlines. I see planning and setting aside time to make sure I am up to speed as an important part of living a lifestyle of preparedness. By staying ahead of responsibilities I'm ready for whatever disasters life throws my way, both big and small. If my homework is done, I don't have to stress if I spend the whole day before a deadline fixing my car, because I was prepared.
Everyone has a different method, but for me google calendar is the easiest way to keep track of events and deadlines. What do you use for scheduling?
